Top 5 Wheat Beers
There’s nothing better than kicking back and enjoying a nice cold one. It’s no secret that we love beer at the Mancave Daily. And just like women, beer comes in all different types. Ranging from the dark filling stout to the crisper lagers. Due to the creeping rise in temperature, we’ve been throwing back a few wheat beers these days (responsibly of course). So without further adieu here are our top 5 wheat beers.

Anheuser-Busch InBev
5. Shock Top Belgian White
This Anheuser-Busch brew is less citrus-y than lots of other wheat beers, though the taste of orange comes through most – as made apparent by the orange peel rocking some sweet shades on the front of the bottle. Shock Top contains 5.2 percent alcohol by volume. Find where you can grab a Shock Top near you here.

Anheuser-Busch InBev
4. Hoegaarden Original White Ale
Now owned by InBev, the Belgian brewery produces one of the most famous wheat beers. On the lighter side, Hoegaarden’s Original White Ale boasts citrus flavors with hints of orange, though it is not typically served with a fruit slice. The Original White Ale contains 4.9 percent alcohol by volume. Find where you can grab a Hoegaarden near you here.

Blue Moon Brewing Company
3. Blue Moon Belgian White
Produced by the Coors Brewing Company in Colorado, Blue Moon has been around since 1995. Like Boulevard’s Unfiltered Wheat Beer, Blue moon is high in citrus flavor, though unlike its counterpart, orange, not lemon, dominates the taste buds. As a result, you’ll usually have an orange slice served with your beer if you order a Blue Moon at a bar. Blue Moon contains 5.4 percent alcohol by volume. You’re likely to find Blue Moon anywhere beer is sold.

Goose Island Beer Co.
2. 312 Urban Wheat Ale
One of Goose Island’s most popular products, 312 Urban Wheat Ale is a bit heavier than most other wheat beers. The flavor is literally award winning, having taken the silver medal in the 2008 World Beer Cup for the English Style Summer Ale category, and the gold medal in 2006, 2007 and 2010 at the Great American Beer Festival in the same category. With 4.2 percent alcohol by volume, the Chicago product can best be enjoyed during one of the Windy City’s pleasant summer days. Find where you can grab a near you 312 here.

Boulevard Brewing Company
1. Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer
Our number one wheat beer may be a relative unknown to non-beer snobs. Boulevard boasts the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest with its wildly popular Unfiltered Wheat Beer. The refreshingly citrus-y drink is dominated by its notes of lemon, and consequently is often served with a slice of a lemon. Boulevard’s most highly demanded product is 4.4 percent alcohol by volume. Find where you can grab a Boulevard near you here.
